Valorant Flashback 2025
To celebrate a huge year for VALORANT, we helped players boast and roast their squad with a data-driven, social-first digital recap.
Aim For the Squad
Last year, we launched the very first web version of Flashback, a Spotify Wrapped-style web experience for VALORANT players. The immersive microsite included playable actions to unlock your Persona Card, a personalized badge based on your playstyle. This shareable moment was a big W, driving social engagement, conversation, and sentiment. Our mission this year? Defeat the Q4 drop in play. VALORANT is a highly social game—so by gunning for the squad, we can snipe every player.
Boast Your Buds, Roast Your Faves
During the Q4 drop, owned social engagement and share of voice usually stay strong, especially among social players who stick with the same group. The connection is what counts to them, so for this social-first recap, VALORANT needed a social shareable that hyped the sociable nature of the game. The microsite recapped your Boasts and Roasts together in a dramatic split screen inversion—with downloadable social assets so you can @ your stats at the squad directly.
Stack vs. The World
The microsite is divided into a five-part journey travelling from year-on-year and global data to your personal best-of slash worst-of. This means players can see how their country did, how the community did as a whole, and feel like part of the bigger VALORANT narrative we’re all writing together. Every clutch play, every crushing defeat, goes beyond one person, one squad. The 2025 Flashback reminds us that the mission is more than one of us—it’s all of us. So squad up and get ready for what’s next.
