Thinkingbox partnered with Lionsgate to bring the new season of "Spartacus: House of Ashur" to life in downtown Los Angeles.
Bringing “Spartacus” to the Streets
Our activation for Lionsgate transformed several iconic L.A. thoroughfares to a tableau of Ancient Rome. On Thanksgiving weekend, we coordinated a horse drawn chariot led by our star character “Ashur” and flanked by armored guards to roll through iconic downtown neighborhoods.

Storytelling Through Spectacle
Every detail, from costumes and props to the casting, was designed to fully immerse passersby in the show’s universe. The realism of the convoy sparked surprise and curiosity, prompting people to film with their phones. It inspired organic buzz that amplified the campaign beyond the route.


A Strategic Conversation Starter
By choosing high traffic areas, we maximized visibility, positioning the convoy not just as another release, but as an event. It captured attention from everyday pedestrians, helping to build online and in person engagement in a way that felt captivating and spontaneous.
