Invincible x Brisk x SXSW

Those who watch Invincible know that Burger Mart isn’t just a fast food restaurant in the background. It’s an iconic and meaningful location in the series and a place fans always wished they could visit IRL. For SXSW 2026, Thinkingbox and Amazon Studios, in partnership with Brisk, gave fans what they wanted when we took the beloved burger joint from the animated series to the streets of Austin.

For Invincible to be an authentic focal point at SXSW Amazon Studios and Brisk needed to go deeper than merch drop or a photo op. That’s why the Thinkingbox interpretation of Burger Mart needed to be frame perfect from the ground up. The red brick exterior. Potted plants packed with Easter eggs. Staff in full uniform. Every detail was dialed in, right down to the menu, where fans could order Hot BMs, fries, and a cold can of Brisk. For three days, the bold, cel-shaded world of Invincible became somewhere you could walk into, order from, and taste for yourself.

Standing Room Only

The line started before we even opened. But it wasn’t just a restaurant. No we did takeout too with custom totes, posters, and stickers as take home items to round out the experience create even more buzz through instant fan-favorite giveaways. But it wasn’t just fans hungering for more. The activation drew coverage from CBS, CNET, and Event Marketer, dubbing it an “Experiential Idea Worth Stealing”. By the time the weekend was over, Burger Mart had served over 3,000 burgers, drummed up some of the biggest buzz around an activation at SXSW 2026, and given one of the most beloved locations in animation its biggest real-world opening ever.
