Discord GDC 2026
Discord’s Mission: Launched!
Mission Control, Built in Motion
For the 2026 Game Developers’ Conference, we partnered with Discord to shift how developers see them. Discord was already known as the place where gaming communities gather. But at GDC, they needed to move beyond that to position themselves as growth infrastructure, the system that helps games acquire players, activates friend groups, and creates momentum. Inspired by gaming culture and vintage NASA aesthetics, we created Discord Mission Control to make that abstract strategy physical.

One System. No Lag.
We created a brand bible that would govern the entire experience, from graphics and motion to sound and music design. The thinking was direct: if every element felt connected, if the booth itself operated like a unified system, then Discord Mission Control became proof of their core claim. We crafted content and programming for five unique interactive builds, each demonstrating a piece of their growth story. The centerpiece was a VIP Interactive Experience on the main consoles. Our teams worked in lock-step to engineer a fluid, seamless experience that felt like stepping off the conference floor and into a command center where community, discovery, and retention were all connected in one operating system.
Fueled by Fans. Powered by the Pros.
Fourteen screens running synchronized content states. Six unique print assets transforming standard light boxes into a galactic glow. Four touchscreens built for real interaction under real traffic. One system driving every part of this complex machine. Discord Mission Control was designed to anchor their expanding B2B story with a digital experience as playful as Discord’s fan community and the technical craft to outshine on gaming’s biggest professional stage. The message was clear: Discord is not just where your game community lives. It is part of how your game grows.
