 Alianza de Futbol x Chobani: The Perfect Assist

When Chobani set out to connect with the Hispanic community to showcase the replenishing power of their Chobani® Yogurt Drinks, they needed the perfect platform. Enter the Alianza de Futbol tournament—a vibrant celebration of youth soccer. In partnership with the Hispanic agency, Creyentes, we crafted an innovative experience known as the Nutrition Lab. This activation brought the brand directly to the heart of the action, reaching thousands of soccer enthusiasts across three key tournaments in San Bernardino, San Jose, and El Paso.

The Nutrition Lab Experience

The Chobani Nutrition Lab was more than just a sampling station; it was a fully immersive soccer experience. Attendees could interact with on-site nutritionists for personalized guidance, participate in a challenging skills lab game, and enjoy the thrill of competing for limited-edition Chobani merch. Additionally, over 68,00 Chobani Yogurt Drinks were sampled, giving attendees a taste of natural protein and refreshment on and off the field.

Powering the Players

Four branded mobile carts were deployed across the event, ensuring that Chobani Drinks were accessible to everyone. The activation also featured influencer meet-and-greets with four soccer legends, adding an extra layer of excitement and community engagement. Each participating youth team walked away with a Chobani-branded Yeti cooler, with over 300 coolers distributed throughout the tournaments. These coolers became a lasting symbol of Chobani’s commitment to supporting young athletes and their nutritional needs.

Results That Speak Volumes

In just three weekends, the Nutrition Lab reached over 75,000 attendees, distributed over 68,000 product samples, and left a lasting impression on the Hispanic soccer community. “We are thrilled to join forces with Alianza de Futbol and Thinkingbox to bring our Chobani Drinks to the soccer community,” said David Isaac, vice president of program management at Chobani. “By integrating our products into the vibrant world of youth soccer, we aim to replenish hard-working athletes with fresh and natural protein while also connecting with the community in a meaningful way. This partnership reflects our commitment to making nutrition accessible and enjoyable for all.” The Chobani Nutrition Lab not only introduced a new line of products to a new market but also created a footprint that resonated deeply with the community, bringing value, excitement, and a genuine connection to the brand.
