Lion's Gate Hospital Copper Teck AR

After donating copper to implement anti-microbial copper surfaces in Vancouver's Lions Gate Hospital, Teck Resources were looking to educate the public on how copper "makes hospital spaces safer places". Working with Will Creative Inc., we developed an interactive experience that used image tracking AR technology to take the user on an educational journey through a hospital room. Built around a large poster installed in the hospital's lobby, a user could scan the poster with their device to watch the image of a regular hospital room transform to one that had been outfitted with copper on high-touch surfaces. As the user explored the room, educational facts about the anti-microbial benefits of copper would pop up to inform the viewer further.
